Artist Collaborations

I am looking to collaborate with other artists in the near future. Ceramics lend themselves nicely to all sorts of surface design at all levels of color and detail.

For pieces that I would sell on my website - digital reproductions of your art on my pottery - the style and designs need to mesh well with my existing aesthetic. My work is modern and minimalist, with influences that are both clean and earthy. My color scheme leans heavily on blue-greens, neutral grays, and white, with touches of speckled brown, black, burgundy, coral, and mixed metals. This doesn't mean that your work needs to stay within those confines, but it can't clash with them.

Full disclosure: I am an artist that speaks my mind about my views on politics and the world at large. I am particularly outspoken on mental health awareness, inclusive feminism, and LGBTQ+ rights. I want to be very upfront about this so you aren't caught by surprise. If this concerns you, please, message me! We can talk it out. (Unless you're just trying to change my mind, in which case, please don't.)

I welcome contributions from artists of all types, but am particularly drawn to whimsical illustrations and witty hand-lettering/typography. Process and payment will be discussed on a case-by-case basis, but I am definitely not expecting you to work for free!

My goal is to have anywhere from one to ten individual designs (referring to both your work and the surface it's on) per artist for a limited run of up to a year. After that time, we can revisit the collaboration and introduce new designs as we see fit. If there are particularly popular pieces, those may be reintroduced in following years around the holidays for a small limited edition.

If you're looking to collaborate for pieces that you would display or sell, please reach out! I would love to stretch my creative muscles in new directions.

Either way, I want this to be a collaboration that we're both enthusiastic to join. If it's not a heck yes, it's a no. Feel free to take your time, and make sure this is a project that you would really be excited to be a part of!

I look forward to hearing from you.

One-of-a-kind pieces require shipping back and forth and the purchase of the proper materials, but also command a higher sales price. Digital reproductions are more accessible for the masses, can be done in limited runs, and involve minimal shipping and materials.
